Re-launched website in 2004
Spellman High Voltage (SHV) had a pre-existing web site for several years, but needed to improve the navigability to make it more functional for their engineering clientele. They turned HeathNet Consulting (HNC) for this assignment.
Recognizing a full redesign required time to plan and deploy, HNC devised an interim solution, allowing for SHV to immediately improve their navigation system. SHV and HNC weighed the importance of short term updates without taking time away from planning the important re-design.
The re-designed website was developed concurrently and launched early in 2004. This new site is a significant improvement over the previous site in terms of functionality, navigability and user friendliness. As the predominate portal by which customers and potential customers come to learn about SHV's products, services, accomplishments and contributions to the development of high voltage technology. There are many new features to this site such as the parametric search with wish list capabilities allowing for rapid and accurate identification of products by specification.
